Peter and Mary-Ann Gaston have lived at the French House since 1981, with their daughter, Vicky, and their son, Al.

Also in the family are, Andrew, the black Labrador, Rumpole, the Border Terrier, and Hamish, the Giant Schnauzer. As well as the three cats who are rarely to be seen, Napoleon, Hatty, and Lucy. Not forgetting Lexi, the Polecat-Ferret or Cecilia the dwarf Vietnamese Pot-Bellied pig.
