Cecilia

Cecilia is about four years old and has already had piglets twice! She is a Dwarf Vietnamese Pot-Bellied pig who arrived already pregnant and had two sons not long after she arrived. She soon settled in and her were dispatched out to knew homes. However she was pregnant again and gave birth to seven more piglets (one pictured below), two of which died of cold as it was winter when they were born.

Cecilia very much appreciates her large field above the house and the apple trees that hang over the fence and give her extra munching material. She is occasionally let out to roam the garden, however Peter has still not forgotten the time when the piglets were small enough to squeeze through the fence and go around the lawns in pack, rootling all the grass on the lawns which took months to grow back! In the summer though, her favourite past time is having an area in the field turned into a mud bath so she can lie and wallow, while she has a hose trickled on her back, unfortunately she doesn't quite understand what a hose pipe ban is!
